Upper Southampton Township Tamanend Park presents: “Fall Family Hayride, Adventure into the Chocolate Factory” Friday, October 23 through Sunday, October 25, 2015 from 6:00 to 10:00 PM at Tamanend Park, 1255 Second Street Pike, Southampton, PA 18966 (rain date October, 31st). Upper Southampton Parks and Recreation, Southampton Days, Southampton Softball, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts along with other community volunteers have come together and worked nonstop to create this exciting event for the entire family! It is not your traditional scary hayride, but a fun-filled adventure into Wonkka’s Chocolate Factory! Once on the hayride you will be aboard the Wonkkatania where you will get to pass through all of the magical places seen in the movie. While on this ride you will journey through the Land of Pure Imagination, filled with all kinds of candy, and wave hello to Oompa Lompas traveling down the Oompa Loompa Walk! View the Great Glass Elevator that travels any direction you could possibly think of and see an Eggdecator sorting golden eggs. The good eggs are hidden in the park for you to find in the Pumpkin Egg Hunt. You will take a ride through the bubble machine and venture through the Enchanted Woods where you can meet lots of forest friends like Squirrelly the Squirrel, Tuttle the Turtle, the Sneaky Bunny, the Goofy troll and many, many more. Do not forget to check out the live DJ, (Free) games and prizes, food and vendors! Please join us for this night of wonder and pure imagination!
